Ten/6 opens in Mill building

Offering brunch and things, Ten/6 has opened a new place in the new Mill building at 1705 N. Government Way (Suite 101).

The restaurant offers full-experience dining, an espresso bar and a room for private events. It's open for to-go coffee and a takeout menu from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mondays and Tuesdays and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday to Sunday. They take reservations and walk-ins.

Summit Sprouts opens in Hayden

Offering 35 years experience with "seeds to splendor," Summit Sprouts has unveiled a fresh look in the former Judy's Greenhouse location at 37 W. Wyoming (off Government Way one block from U.S. 95).

New owner Hunter Kennedy and his staff offer hanging baskets, vibrant veggies, dazzling annuals, enduring perennials and fruitful trees and bushes.

Rhino Linings of CDA expands to Hayden 

With colorings and custom coatings, Rhino Linings has a new location at 3721 W. Daugherty Loop in Hayden.

Jonathan Rivera and Gerome Mathis work on trucks, RVs, boats, trailers and industrial applications and manufacturing. They have mobile services for pools, ponds, decks and secondary containments with fabrications of miscellaneous materials, metal, fiber-glass and plastics.

Outer Limits opens May 10

Offering powersports gear and accessories, Outer Limits will open Friday at 296 W. Sunset Ave. (Suite 2).

Noah and Shantel Reaves and Tatum Pearson offer helmets, boots, jerseys, pants, casual apparel and gear for street bikes, dirt bikes, adventure bikes, ATV/UTVs and snowmobiles.

• With a summer opening planned, four businesses will occupy the new building under construction at 264 S. Beck Road at State Line. With Garco Construction in charge, the places will be Wendy's, Joint Chiropractic, The Man Shop and possibly Capriotti's Sandwich Shop. Project manager is Michael Barr.

• A Fernan Farmers' Market will be noon to 4 p.m. Sundays May 5 to Sept. 29 at Lake Village Lodge at 320 E. Coeur d'Alene Lake Drive.

• A grand opening for the new building at 8927 N. Hess St. in Hayden will be 5-8 p.m. May 10. 

• With the groundbreaking for new buildings for Grocery Outlet and 7-Eleven stores, North Point Plaza is being constructed in the northeast corner of Highway 41 and Poleline Avenue. • A food court project called Eats on Spokane Street is coming soon to property at the corner of Second Avenue and Spokane Street in Post Falls. Located next to Post Falls Brewing Co., it will open in the summer with a shed-roof pavilion with roll-up doors and restaurant tenants of Melfit Healthy Kitchen and Nachos Cantina, an indoor dining space and restrooms. • A new larger building for The Oval Office is under construction on Spokane Street in Post Falls. It should be complete this summer with owner Raci Erdem, general contractor Rob Harsh and architect Mark Latham.

• A Marriott Hotel will be on about a half acre at 602 and 612 E. Sherman Ave. The six-story hotel will include 131 guest rooms, 130 parking stalls among the main level and three levels underground, an administration area, a bar, kitchen, lounge, dining area, meeting area, laundry, fitness room and a rooftop patio bar.

• A new facility for Peak Health and Wellness Center is under construction at 4425 N. Fennecus Road in Post Falls. It will move in August from 927 E. Polston (Suite 101). The new place will include eight indoor and eight outdoor pickleball courts, strength equipment, cardio and group fitness, a kids club, juice bar, pro shop and full locker room.

• The Goodwill store on Fourth Street will reopen in the summer with a $3 million remodel.

• DOMA Coffee Roasting Company will open a cafe in the 3,000-square-foot main floor in the new building off the Centennial Trail at 3091 S. Atlas Road. It includes indoor and outdoor seating with views up and down the river, coffee, tea, local pastries and takeout. Owners Muir and Julia Harrison will open in April with hours 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily. • The Thomas George building under construction at Third Street and Front Avenue downtown will be 18 stories. • Describing it as a "new product vendor mall," Marketplace@Miles is under construction in the southeast corner of Government Way and Miles Avenue in Hayden. • Suites are leased in a new building at 2420 Government Way. Ranging from 898 to 915 square feet, each unit is a shell with a fully finished bathroom with tenants finishing the balance of the space. 

• Selkirk Sport will relocate its pro shop from 12037 N. Tracey Road in Hayden to 7878 Government Way later this year.

• Huetter Business Park, which is three flex industrial and office buildings owned by Etco Services, will open on Huetter Road north of Interstate 90 and Seltice Way. • A new ambulatory surgery center is under construction by Northwest Specialty Hospital at 1624 E. Mullan Ave. directly east of its main campus at 1593 E. Polston Ave. in Post Falls. The 9,600-square-foot place will be used for surgeries that don't require overnight stays and will have two outpatient surgery rooms with options for future expansion. It should open in early 2024. • With buildings of 168,000 and 238,000 square feet, The Pointe at Post Falls is at North Beck Road and Pointe Parkway. • A new pizza place will be in the former Syringa building on Fourth Street.
