NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING On the 28th day of May 2024, at 5:00 p.m. at City of Hayden Lake City Hall, 9393 N. Strahorn Road, Hayden Lake, Idaho 83835, a hearing will be held by the City Council of the City of Hayden Lake for the purpose of considering amendments to City Code Sections 9-2-1, 9-3-5, 10-1-3, 10-2-1 and 10-3-3 along with the addition of Chapter 6 to Title 10 of the City Code entitled “Condominium Subdivisions”. The amendments revise the definition of the City’s Residential Zone to reflect the reduced minimum lot size requirement from 1 acre to 1/3 acre that was approved and codified in 2018. The amendments and addition also reduce the minimum road frontage for new lots from 100 feet to 75 feet, require a road frontage to depth ratio of .40 or greater for new lots and add provisions to regulate condominiums. No later than 4:00 p.m. on the date of the hearing, any person may file with the City Clerk of the City of Hayden Lake, 9393 N. Strahorn Road, Hayden Lake, Idaho 83835, written testimony for inclusion in the record at the hearing. Such testimony must contain the interested party’s name and address and the reasons for the testimony. Oral testimony will also be allowed at the public hearing so long as it complies with the requirements of the City of Hayden Lake City Code. Further information regarding this hearing along with the full text of the proposed amendments may be obtained by contacting the City Clerk at the address listed above.
