Bonnie J. Marshall, 95

Bonnie J. Marshall passed away peacefully at home March 10, 2024. She was 95 years old. Bonnie was born Dec. 8, 1928, in Venice, Calif., to Orson and Nell Bird. Bonnie and her beloved husband, John, made Coeur d'Alene their home in 1980.

Bonnie is survived by her son, John R. Marshall, of Coeur d'Alene. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Marion Marshal, granddaughter Sandra Dohm, grandson Kevin Marshall, and great-grandsons Cole Marshall, Jon Dohm, and Jack Dohm. Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, John Marshall, her son, James Marshall, and her brother, Rulan Bird.

Bonnie had a way of making everyone feel welcomed and cherished, whether it was with a warm smile or a listening ear. She touched the lives of many with her positive attitude and unflagging spirit. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. A special thank you from the family to Peter Erbland and Bob Burton for being loyal friends to Bonnie and John over the years. Even with the sadness of her passing, the joy remains.

The family is forever grateful for the compassionate care provided by her caregiver, Linda Mack, whose dedication ensured her comfort and solace during her times of need, and also to the staff of Bestland Retirement Community, who showed extra care and attention to her needs in her final years.

Bonnie was a member of St. Pius Roman Catholic Church. A funeral Mass will be held Saturday, May 25, 2024, at 11 a.m. at 625 E. Haycraft Ave., Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
