FRENCHTOWN, Mont. — The Hawks allowed seven first-inning runs en route to the loss to the host Broncs.

Delilah Zimmerman and Emma Avalos had the lone hits for Lakeland (0-2), which scored twice on wild pitches in the third inning.

Carah Evans had a three-run homer in the first inning for Frenchtown (2-0).

Lakeland travels to Timberlake on Tuesday.
