RACISM: The sickness is simply sickening
I am deeply embarrassed for my city and my state. As an alumnus of U of Utah, I have great pride in the school and the athletic program. The women’s basketball team deserved their invitation to the NCAA Tournament. Certain people in my beautiful city ruined their experience and they will never want to visit this area again.
I am sick of the racism that is so prevalent in our area. I am sick of the trashy Trump flags and confederate flags that desecrate our neighborhoods and the attitude that these people spread throughout North Idaho.
These clowns driving their loud pickups and yelling slurs at beautiful people are the lowest cowards imaginable. We already have the Proud Boys and the Oath Keepers. What should we call this group of losers who apparently drive large trucks to compensate for their male inadequacy? They are inadequate human beings who think they can elevate themselves by denigrating others.
And while I’m talking about it, I’m sick of hearing about our local Realtors who advertise specifically to attract these right-wing racists to move to North Idaho. You are not doing any of us a favor. As a community, we must do better.
