John Wilson, 72

John Wilson, age 72, of Osburn, Idaho, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2023, at home with family.

John was born Sept. 30, 1951, in Wood River, Ill. He was a general contractor and builder of track and custom homes for over 50 years. He loved fishing, boating, hunting, motorcycle riding and surfing.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Holly Wilson; his daughter, Jennifer Waite (Cory) and grandchildren Corbin, Camryn and Carley of Yelm, Wash., and daughter Julie Wilson; and grandsons Isaac and Nolan of Dundee, Ore.

A service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Lake City Church, 6000 N. Ramsey Road, Coeur d’Alene. A luncheon will follow the service, and all attendees are encouraged to wear color.

Memorial donations can be made to Shoshone Cancer Resource Center (P.O. Box 261  Kellogg, ID 83837). Shoshone Cancer Resource Center was very helpful in his care, providing gas coupons, medical coupons and gift cards for groceries.
