Helena Kahler (Vieira), 88

Helena was born March 3, 1936, to John and Mary (Ferreira) Vieira in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad. She was a resident of Hayden Lake, Idaho, and died peacefully Thursday, March 21, 2024, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.   

Helena is lovingly remembered by her husband, Ron Kahler; children Jim (and Halina) Hogue, John (and Emily) Hogue and Jennifer (and Andy) Giles; and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation with viewing will be Wednesday, March 27, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Yates Funeral Home, Coeur d'Alene Chapel, at 744 N. Fourth St. in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.  A memorial service is being planned for a later date. Arrangements are provided by Yates Funeral Home.
