Drive-thru food distribution Thursday in PF

POST FALLS — A drive-thru food distribution event will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at River City Middle School, 1505 Fir St., Post Falls.

No appointment or documentation will be required for the Second Harvest Mobile Food Market, which will serve up to 250 families. Food items will include nonperishable and fresh foods. The event is for anyone in need of food assistance.

Volunteers will mostly be students working alongside community members.

The event will be held in partnership with the Post Falls School District, Post Falls Rotary, Kootenai County Juvenile Probation, Eat Smart Idaho and the SNAP-Ed program.
