William 'Bart' Barton Chamberlin, 57
In loving memory of William Barton Chamberlin, known as Bart, born Jan, 4, 1967, in Mesa, Ariz., and departed from us Feb. 3, 2024, at 4:44 p.m., in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, surrounded by friends and family.
Bart was known by his friends and family to never say anything negative about anyone. His witty sense of humor was full of love and spite. Bart's adventurous spirit found solace in the exhilarating world of racing dirt bikes, in his early years, trail riding in his later years and the serene greens of the golf course where he spent a lot of his free time. His passion for these pursuits fueled his zest for life and left an indelible mark on those who shared in his adventures. Bart also loved the Seahawks and was a forever fan.
Bart was a lifelong Christian and recognized his need for the Lord during his final days.
Bart's journey began in Mesa, Ariz., but his impact spanned far beyond his birthplace. He was a proud graduate of McLoughlin High School in 1985, hailing from Milton-Freewater. He continued his pursuit of knowledge, earning a bachelor's degree in radiologic science from OIT, where he honed his skills and passion for helping others.
Bart's legacy is cherished by his devoted son and best friend, Brandon Chamberlin, his loving parents, Bill and Judy Chamberlin, and his sister, Janet Millar, and brother-in-law, Malcolm Millar. Bart shared a special bond with Dana Bosworth, whom he married and later took different pathways. They remained close friends throughout life's journey. One of the greatest joys in Bart and Dana’s life was raising Brandon together. Bart had several very close friends including Mark Huffman, Dan Hiebert, Lance Crum, Kent Long and Mike Thrall (“The Bru Cru”). The Bru Cru, Dr. John Stackow and Hal Olson were his (golfing buddies), and Leah Davis, a close friend whom he regarded as his little sister. Bart was preceded in death by his longtime college buddy, Kevin Bassett. His memory will forever inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him.
A celebration of Bart’s remarkable life will be held June 6, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Yates Funeral Home — Coeur d’Alene Chapel, 744 N. Fourth St., Coeur d’Alene. Friends and family will come together to honor his memory and share stories of his enduring impact.
In Bart's memory, let us find solace in the cherished moments shared and the lasting impressions he left upon us all.
