Beverly Gay Waller, 56
Beverly Gay Waller was born Sept. 1, 1967, to Martin D. Waller and Diane (Nethery) Waller in Bellevue, Wash. She graduated from Bothell High School in 1987; earned an associate of arts degree from Edmonds Community College in 1990; and a bachelor of arts degree from Western Washington University in 1993, majoring in English.
Beverly pursued her love of writing for many years and left behind a treasury of short children's stories, poems, devotionals and song lyrics. Some of her writings and poems were published. She was also interested in painting and several of her artistic accomplishments are hanging in her parents' home.
At the age of 16, Beverly prayed to receive Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She spent a lot of time studying the Word on her own, listening to teaching programs on the radio, attending Bible studies and working to find ways to lead others to Christ.
Among the notes she left behind was a statement of her life mission: “To know, love, and be faithful to God by doing the good works He prepared for me to do so that I can encourage others and help people come to Christ.”
Beverly went home to be with the Lord on March 6, 2024. She is survived by her father, Martin Waller; sister Sheila Waller; and extended family members in Texas and Kansas. She was preceded in death by her mother, Diane (Nethery) Waller.
A graveside service will be held at the Greenwood Cemetary (5579 W. Vermont St., Spirit Lake, Idaho) on Thursday, March 14, at 2 p.m.
