TRUMP: Not qualified to serve as president
John Gartner is a widely published psychotherapist specializing in borderline personality disorders. He graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University.
Mr. Gartner, in 2017, authored a petition titled “Mental health professions declare Donald Trump to be mentally ill and must be removed.”
By the end of April 2017, the petition had garnered 41,000 signatures from mental health professionals from across the U.S.
That’s a lot of signatures.
More recently, Trump campaigning in multiple states has repeatedly referred to Obama as his political opponent, seven times at least.
Trump seemingly made the same mistake on Fox News last month when telling Sean Hannity that Obama is “going to end up being indicted when he leaves office” if the Supreme Court doesn’t endorse his view of presidential immunity.
He has also claimed repeatedly that Nikki Haley was in charge of security during the Jan. 6 riot. Haley was working in private sector at that time.
Mr. Trump then repeated his frequent claim that the bipartisan House committee that investigated the Jan. 6 attack — including Mr. Trump’s actions that day — “destroyed all of the information, all of the evidence.”
We all forget names occasionally, or mispronounce a name or word. When it becomes habitual, and when the content of those comments becomes totally divorced from any kind of reality, it is time to reconsider if this should be the leader of the free world.
Trump’s continual lying, name calling, and confused state of mind alone should disqualify him from the presidency.
