NEW LAW: Know about protections

I would like employers to know about the Pregnant Fairness Act that just came into federal law last June. This act protects pregnant workers who need accommodations regarding weight restrictions, breaks, etc.

Due to my recent experience at my health care facility, I would like to make sure that our community knows about this new law. Administrators and people of leadership need to become aware. 

It is on the equal employment opportunities website for the U.S. I have found over the last few days that not many are educated on this new law or even know about it. We have been conditioned to believe that there is nothing we can do when an employer wrongs staff members.
