Caroline 'Carol' L. Vineyard, 76

She was born May 13, 1947, in Roseville, Calif., and passed away Jan. 7, 2024, at Kootenai Health. She was the eldest daughter of Henry T. and Louise E. Fuhrman who preceded her in death. 

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, William F. Vineyard; three children: William (Wendy) Vineyard of Hayden; Thomas (Kristy) Vineyard of Hayden; and Stacy (Todd) Morgan of Hayden; along with 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren plus two on the way; and two sisters: Patricia Larson of Carters Ridge, Australia; and Shirley (John) Bischoff of Rathdrum; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. 

Carol was an extremely devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was the glue that held our family together. Carol enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with beloved family and friends. She was a fabulous cook right up to the smoke alarm going off while cooking steak. That task she passed on to Bill. Dinner was always on the table by the time everyone was home.

Her passing has left a tremendous hole in all the lives she touched, and she is missed beyond measure.

The family will be holding a Memorial/Celebration of Life at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 26, 2024, at the Vineyard Residence — 20249 E. Hayden Lake Road, Hayden, Idaho. All that can attend are welcome.
