Backcountry Veterans set banquet

The Idaho Backcountry Veterans Panhandle Chapter has scheduled its annual sportsman's banquet for 5 to 10 p.m. March 23 at the Coeur d'Alene Shrine Club, 1250 W. Lancaster in Hayden.

It will include dinner, firearms, prizes and an auction. 

“By supporting our mission, you’re not only helping veterans find healing and rejuvenation in the great outdoors, but you’re also contributing to a community that values the enduring spirit of camaraderie and the joy of shared laughter," said Kevin McFarland, the local chapter's founder and president. "Join us in preserving and celebrating these vital aspects of the military experience and in welcoming new friends into this extended family of veterans.”

Tickets are $60.
