PUTIN: Opinion piece divorced from reality

Having just read the guest opinion piece by Reid Harlocker I can only shake my head in both wonder and dismay. In this case I wonder how folks become so disconnected from fact/reality and yet are so passionate about their misinformed view; dismayed because they are in hard denial of the realities.

Opinions can be based in fact, truth, reality, passion/emotion, common sense, confusion, deception, lack of information, silliness, blindness or plain stupidity. Mr. Harlocker is certainly passionate about his subject. He is also either blind to facts or deceived. 

But, since opinions are like belly buttons and everyone has one, he is 100% entitled to his and the public expression of it. I just hope his opinions are not infectious.
