Linda L. (Fairweather) Folk, 82

Linda L. (Fairweather) Folk passed away Feb. 8, 2024, at home surrounded by her husband, of 60 years, James Folk, her daughter, Ronda Mein, and Rick Bogar.  

She was born Jan. 28, 1942, to Warren and Clarice Fairweather in Wallace, Idaho. She later moved to Republic, Wash., and stayed with her grandparents, Gus and Alice Yenter. Her family moved to Wallace, Idaho, where she graduated from high school in 1959. 

She worked as a beautician, for JC Penney, the City of Kellogg and the State of Idaho. In retirement, she and Jim traveled to Arizona during the winters and made many dear and lifelong friends. Summer weekends were spent camping with family and friends on the North Fork of the Coeur d'Alene River making cherished memories.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Gary Fairweather, daughter Roberta Schoening and son Gregory Folk. She is survived by her husband, Jim; children Ronda Mein (Rick Bogar) and Kevin (Lena) Folk; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers Robert (Mary) Fairweather and Stan (Tina) Fairweather; and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly.
