2A: Don’t twist the unambiguous

| March 3, 2024 1:00 AM

In my time on this Earth (almost 80 years) I have witnessed several factions attempt to twist the clear and unambiguous language of the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

The people specifically mentioned are the same people mentioned in the First and Fourth Amendments, NAMELY THE GENERAL POPULATION OF LAW-ABIDING CITIZENS.

It is obvious to me that the anti-gunners have neither the integrity nor the cojones to bring legitimate concerns to a vote of the state legislatures to effect a change to the Second Amendment. In my opinion, it should be viewed as treasonous to attempt to alter any amendment without constitutional due process.

As an aside, I would to God that Idaho would welcome with open arms all gun and ammunition manufacturers to our great state, with TEMPORARY tax incentives and warm welcomes from community business leaders.
