Sex offenders arrested

| March 2, 2024 1:05 AM

Two sex offenders are facing felony charges after police said they unlawfully moved into a home close to a school building, according to the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office.

Police arrested Conrad E. Fallentine, 44, and Christian R. Green, 52, both of Coeur d’Alene, this week.

Fallentine faces four counts of failing to notify of an address change or provide updated information, as well as one count of providing false information.

Green is charged with failure to notify of an address change or provide update information, as well as one count of providing false information.

After surveilling two locations in Post Falls and Coeur d’Alene, investigators said they believed Green and Fallentine had moved into a Post Falls home located within 500 feet of Genesis Prep Academy. The school is located on the campus of Real Life Ministries.

In Idaho, it is unlawful for a person who is required to register as a sex offender to reside within 500 feet of the property on which a school or day care is located.

Police obtained arrest warrants for Green and Fallentine, then conducted two separate, simultaneous traffic stops Thursday night, during which they arrested both men “without incident.”

Fallentine is being held on $150,000 bond, while Green is being held on $100,000 bond.
