LEGION BASEBALL: Lums to play for title at Selah tourney

SELAH, Wash. — Isaac Ziegler opened the scoring with a two-run double in the first inning for the Coeur d’Alene Lumbermen in an 11-2 win over the West Plains Cannons of Medical Lake in the Emily Harris Memorial Tournament at Archer Stadium on Saturday.

Ziegler, who also had an RBI single in the third inning, finished with four RBIs for Coeur d’Alene (12-10).

Austin DeBoer struck out six and allowed three hits in the win.

Coeur d’Alene, which won a three-way tiebreaker for the top spot, will face the Cannons again in the championship game today at 3 p.m.
