James 'Mike' Brown, 77

James "Mike" Brown, 77, husband of Cynthia Brown, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2024, in Elk Grove, Calif. Born on June 3, 1946, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, he was the son of the late Elbert Brown and Barbara Black. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy, a graduate of West Valley College, a Lions Club Member, and retired from Thermo Fisher Scientific in 2018. 

He is survived by his beloved wife Cyndie, daughters Lara Willing of Los Gatos, Calif., Shauna Brown of Sacramento, Calif., Lisa Anderson and her husband, Rob Anderson, of Los Gatos, brother Richard Brown of Mountain Home, Idaho, grandchildren Mitchell Brown of Seattle, Wash., Destiny Brown and Angelica Brown of Sacramento, Calif. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his eldest brother, Donald Brown.

A Memorial Service and Reception will be held at Light of the Valley Lutheran Church, 9270 Bruceville Road, Elk Grove, CA 95758, on June 30, 2024, at 1 p.m.

His inurnment and reception will be held at Christ the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1550 Meridian Ave., San Jose, CA 95125, on July 20, 2024, at 1 p.m.
