City wants action plan input

| June 22, 2024 1:00 AM

The city of Coeur d'Alene wants public input on its annual action plan that will be drafted for use of Community Development Block Grant funds.

The city will receive $296,418 in CDBG funds later this year.

A public forum is scheduled at noon June 28 at City Hall.

A public hearing is scheduled 6 p.m. Aug. 6 in the Coeur d'Alene Library Community Room.

A survey is offered at www.surveymonkey.com/r/CdA-AAP.

CDBG funds support local community development initiatives, specifically benefiting low-to-moderate income residents and neighborhoods and "address urgent community development needs," a press release said.

The draft plan will be available from July 6 to Aug. 6 at cdaid.org/cdbg or at City Hall.

To provide written comments or for more information, contact CDBG Administrator Sherrie Badertscher at 208-769-2382 or via email at sherrieb@cdaid.org.
