Christine 'Chris' Louise Gray, 70

Christine Gray (Chris), 70, of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, passed away peacefully Sunday, June 16, 2024. She was born to James and Reva Brown in Amarillo, Texas, on April 18, 1954. 

Chris was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She is survived by her mother, Reva Roberts; her brother, Brian Brown; her son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Rachel Gray; and her two grandchildren, Juliet and Richard Gray. We are grateful that she has been reunited in heaven with her devoted husband, Rich.

She was an involved member of her church and in her community. Prior to moving to Idaho, Chris spent time in Colorado, volunteering with the Colorado Springs Police Department and working for Powers Insulation. Chris also served in the United States Army, where she met her husband. 

Chris loved to laugh and spend time with family and friends. She loved playing cards and dominoes, although she hated losing to her son. Her family and friends will never forget her great sense of humor and kind heart. She touched the lives of many, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A celebration of Chris's life will be held at 11 a.m.,  Thursday, June 27, 2024, at First Presbyterian Church of Coeur d'Alene, located at 521 E. Lakeside Ave., Coeur d’Alene, ID 83814. Her family would love to meet you and hear your memories of Chris. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to First Presbyterian Church or Hospice of North Idaho (2290 W. Prairie Ave. Coeur d’Alene, ID 83815) in honor of Chris's generous and caring spirit.
