Power outage affecting over 100 customers in Hayden Lake

More than 100 customers are experiencing power outages in Hayden Lake due to equipment failure.

The outages, which started at 12:57 p.m., are taking place south of East English Point Road near Berven Bay, along East Point Hayden Drive, Lake Forest Drive and Cutting Street, according to the Avista outage map at outagemap.myavista.com.

Updated at 2:15 p.m., Avista estimates power to be restored by 4 p.m.

"Crews are currently working on your outage as weather and safety conditions permit," Avista said on the outage page. "Please check your estimated time of restoration to see when your power may be back on."
