Lewis-Clark State track and field

Shell, a senior from Coeur d'Alene High, was named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team, the school announced. In order to be named, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore in standing and maintain at least a 3.50 grade cumulative grade point average. In cross country and track and field, a student-athlete must be a top competitor in their event to be eligible. It was the first time Shell had been named to the team.

Carter Gordon

Lewis-Clark State track and field

Gordon, a junior from Lake City High, was named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team, his first selection to the team. Gordon captured the NAIA Indoor title in the men's 800-meter run, one of four All-American honors this season. Gordon was fifth in the outdoor 800 and was also a member of both the indoor and outdoor 4x800 relay team and holds a 3.59 grade point average as a Business Management major.
