Audrey Jeanette Marsh, 91

| June 19, 2024 1:00 AM

Audrey Jeanette Marsh has gone to be with the Lord on May 22, 2024.

Audrey was born to William F. and Bernice S. Springer in Spokane, Wash., on Aug. 27, 1932. She was the oldest of five siblings; her siblings are now deceased. She graduated from North Central High School.

On May 5, 1954, Audrey married Alfred J. Marsh; they raised three children. Audrey was a wonderful wife and mother. She and Al enjoyed 60 years together. She was a self-taught pianist and organist, and she had played for a couple of the churches in the Spokane area. She loved music, sewing, knitting and singing in the choir. She taught 4-H, worked at the valley fairgrounds and helped with community functions at the lake. She loved her home at Rockford Bay, which had access to the lake.

Audrey means Noble Strength; she was steadfast, faithful and true to Alfred's medical needs, getting him to and from appointments and tending to his wounds. This all happened during her hips breaking down and having to have both hips replaced before Alfred passed away in 2014.

Audrey is survived by her sister-in-law, Joan Cochrane; her kids, Dale (Dona), Kathy (Michael) and David (Theresa); her four grandkids and their families; and a combined nine great-grandchildren.

Audrey, you were, and will always be, loved, cherished, respected and admired by all your family and friends! Audrey, even the senior home personnel loved you! I was told many times you were their sunshine! You will be greatly missed!

A memorial service will be held in Audrey's honor Saturday, June 29, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the Millwood Community Presbyterian Church, 3223 N. Marguerite Road, Millwood, WA 99212.

English Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with the final arrangements. Memories and condolences may be shared on her online memorial at www.englishfuneralchapel.com.
