Car d'Lane ready to roll

COEUR d'ALENE — The 33rd annual Car d'Lane Classic Car Show & Cruise is scheduled Friday and Saturday. The iconic car cruise and show showcases classic cars 1980 and older.
Hundreds of cruisers will roll from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday. The parade route is west on Lakeside Avenue from Eighth Street, north up Fourth Street, west on Wallace Avenue, south on Second Street and then east on Sherman Avenue. Presented by Napa Auto Parts, experience roaring pipes and flames at Fifth and Sherman.
Get a look under the hoods at the Car d’Lane Show & Shine presented by STCU from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. The show is on Sherman Avenue between First and Seventh streets, along with corresponding side streets.
A Poker Walk is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Special sections of the show include Young Builders, Special Interest and Coeur d’Moto.
Other highlights include a rare collection of Ferraris from the Inland Northwest Ferrari Club of America, and kids can sit in the cars of the Cars 4 Kids Car Club section.
"With all the buzz regarding the updated noise ordinance, we can assure you that Car d’Lane participants are not subject to citation for violation of the ordinance for three days before and three days after the Car d’Lane weekend," according to a press release.
