Around 12:40 p.m. Thursday, an outage was reported affecting approximately 8,500 customers on an Avista Utilities outage map for the Coeur d'Alene area.

An initial report shows the outage is grouped near Kootenai Health and Dalton Gardens.
According to Avista Utilities, power is expected to return about 3:15 p.m.
