REGAN: Not rational about NIC

I would like to voice extreme exception to Brent Regan’s opinion column “Rational thinking” in the May 31 edition of the Coeur d’Alene Press. I wonder if the swamp gas floating over Coeur d’Alene also includes the systematic partial destruction of North Idaho College?

Mr. Regan’s vehement support of the three stooges on the North Idaho Board of Trustees, in my opinion, does not represent rational thinking. They have crafted bitterness, divisiveness and inappropriate use of funds relevant to ridiculous lawsuits and attorney fees costing thousands of taxpayer dollars. Is this rational thinking?

School boards, library boards and college trustees are all supposed to be apolitical. Mr. Regan does not seem to think so. Is this rational thinking?
