PRIDE: Event doesn’t represent Coeur d’Alene

| June 5, 2024 1:00 AM

We live just outside Coeur d’Alene and we’re very disappointed that you included all of Coeur d’Alene as celebrating the pride parade.

Have you ever said that Coeur d’Alene is celebrating Jesus’ birth? I think thousands and thousands of people were not celebrating pride day and how you worded that on the very front page is One Why don’t you pass at the discrimination to the rest of us. Because I have yet to see the name of Jesus in one of your headlines in a positive, celebratory manner.

So disappointed that we need to celebrate sex whatever it is on the front page of the news. Our sexual preferences are each other man and woman, and we don’t celebrate that on your front page. I am so disappointed that you take a few people and celebrate their sexual preference on the front page. Of course we love all people, but to celebrate their sexual connotation or anyone’s sexual connotation is absolutely wrong. I did not think that it was what Coeur d’Alene is all about!
