WORRIES: ‘Worlds in Collision’

Ancient-languages scholar Immanuel Velikovsky (1895-1979), wrote, “Worlds in Collision” (1950). It was a Best Seller.

Like geologist J Harlen Bretz’s (1882-1981) “Missoula Flood” research and fieldwork, Velikovsky suggested that the Earth had experienced catastrophic events. 

University professors attacked both men (often “ad hominem”). Although physicist Albert Einstein tried to get research funding for Velikovsky, but he died in 1955.
