MY TURN: Ignored or rejected?

Coeur d’Alene, Post Falls and Dalton Gardens have either refused or ignored requests for the support of and proclamations on behalf of Traditional Family Values. What will Rathdrum and/or Hayden do? Proclamations have been made (by the city of Coeur d’Alene) in favor of and in support of the LGBTQ+ PRIDE community — but traditional families? No! Why?

Traditional families, designed by God, have been the foundation of societies since creation. In other words, the health of a nation is determined (in part) by the health of the traditional family. However, our cities and state have not yet agreed to establish a time each year to celebrate the traditional family. Do they think that traditional family values are controversial? Why did the Idaho state Senate refuse to hear the Traditional Family Values Month resolution? Why have our mayors refused to issue proclamations to establish Traditional Family Values Month? What are they afraid of?

Many of the crises our nation faces correlate directly to the downturn and depreciation of the traditional family, and it is time to change this trajectory.

I am asking that we celebrate the traditional family in our communities. This is a positive way to address the decline and show our communities that society benefits greatly by the development of and support for healthy traditional families.

It is to our benefit that we encourage our elected officials to endorse and establish a Traditional Family Values Month throughout the state of Idaho — in individual cities/townships. Please encourage your mayor, city council members and all elected representatives to endorse and establish a Traditional Family Values Month throughout the state of Idaho and set aside the time from Mother’s Day to Father’s Day in celebration of the traditional family.

Recognize Traditional Family Values Month.
