Kathryn Lilly Thrasher, 88

Kathryn Lilly Thrasher of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, passed away July 16, 2024. Kathryn was born June 12, 1936, just having celebrated her 88th birthday. She was born in Caldwell, Idaho, to Merrill Henry Skinner and Donna (Kammeyer) Skinner. Kathryn grew up in Idaho and Oregon with two sisters, Marilyn and Louise.

Kathryn met Bruce Thrasher in Madras, Ore., and married June 25, 1953. They had four children: Michael, David, Donna and Jolyn. Kathryn worked as a bookkeeper for Cascade Farm Machinery in Silverton, Ore. She was active and loved quilting and playing games, but her family was her life. She will be deeply missed by so many.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bruce; and her sister, Marilyn. Kathryn is survived by her children: Michael (and Carolyn) Thrasher of Salem, Ore., David (and Carla) Thrasher of Remus, Mich., Donna (and Greg) Reed of Surprise, Ariz., and Jolyn Haynes of Moses Lake, Wash.; as well as six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and sister Louise Mori.
