Five arrested, drugs seized in raid

COEUR d'ALENE — Five men were arrested and illegal narcotics were seized in a law enforcement raid that culminated a monthslong investigation Thursday morning.

During the search of an apartment at Carrington Place Apartments in the 4200 block of West Trafford Lane, detectives found trafficking quantities of cocaine, psychedelic mushrooms and drug-related paraphernalia. 

Jerimiah James Fisher, 20, and Brian Adam Scholwinski, 19, both of Coeur d’Alene, and Andrew Edward Siler, 20, of Hayden, are facing multiple felony drug-related charges, including trafficking cocaine, a press release said.

Caden Marcus Perry, 20, Coeur d’Alene also faces felony drug-related charges including possession with intent to deliver.

The five suspects are being held in the Kootenai County jail.

The Coeur d’Alene Police Department’s Community Action Team and Opioid Task Force, along with the combined Coeur d'Alene police and Kootenai County Sheriff's office SWAT team, served a search warrant and several arrest warrants about 11 a.m. at the apartment.

The Coeur d’Alene Police Department initially reported in a news release that Jake Farrar had been charged with drug-related offenses. However, Farrar was not charged with any crime and the Coeur d’Alene Police Department has since removed his name from the news release.
