Houston Hot Chicken could come to Post Falls

On Friday, Post Falls planning division announced a project proposal by Houston Hot Chicken at the intersection of Mullan Avenue and Highway 41.  

Post Falls would be the restaurant chain's second Idaho location. Last September, Houston Hot Chicken opened a restaurant in Meridian.  

According to the site plan review, Houston Hot Chicken’s fast-food restaurant would be a stand-alone commercial venue with a drive-through. 

The restaurant will need to abide by Post Falls design standards, including roadway/frontage improvements, connection to sanitary sewer and a municipal water supply. 

The franchise is connected to the Houston Hot Chicken site in Spokane and the current plan is to shoot for the Post Falls location to open by March 2025.
