    Courtesy photo The North Idaho Storm AAU varsity boys basketball team, playing under the name “Lakeland Storm,” won the championship of the Summer Slam Tournament this past weekend in Spokane Valley. The Storm went 6-0, beating Catch Spokane Fury 75-42, Priest River 55-47 and Pomeroy 71-36 to win their pool. In the quarterfinals the Storm beat East Valley 61-41. In the semifinals the Storm beat Glacier of Montana 52-29. In the championship game the Storm beat Colfax 52-40.
