Post Falls 13, Coeur d’Alene 2: Braden Drapeau struck out three and allowed three hits as Post Falls won the district title to advance to the best-of-3 state playoffs next weekend at Canfield Sports Complex in Coeur d’Alene.
Ethan Squires went 2 for 2 for Post Falls, which will play District 2 champion Southwest Ada next Friday and Saturday, and Sunday if necessary.

Lewiston 12, Coeur d’Alene 2: With the win in the elimination game, Lewiston advances to play Post Falls in the championship game today at 10 a.m. at Airport Park. If Lewiston wins, an if-necessary title game would follow at 12:30 p.m.

Hayden Black 6, Lewiston 4: Garrett Sampsel and Cooper Doyle each went 2 for 2 for Hayden Black in the elimination game.
Hayden advances to the championship game against Coeur d’Alene Black today at 10 a.m. at Airport Park. If Hayden wins, a second title game would follow at 12:30 p.m.

St. Maries 9, West Valley 8: At the Charles F. McDevitt Youth Sports Complex in Boise, Remy Smith went 2 for 3 and had the walk-off RBI to score Kennadie Baker in extra innings as St. Maries squared its best-of-3 series with West Valley of District 2 at one game apiece.
Hope Grosvenor struck out 10 for St. Maries, and Camryn Charles doubled and drove in two runs.
The deciding Game 3 for the state title is today.
