Lightning Tool & Manufacturing opens in Post Falls

An innovative manufacturing company, Lightning Tool & Manufacturing is in a large new building at 4378 W. Selway Ave. at Riverbend Commerce Park in Post Falls.

It offers exceptional quality plastic injection molds, injection molded plastic parts and CNC machined products such as fly-fishing spools, molded knife grips and furniture floor pads. ARG Industrial opens in Hayden

With 13 branches in four northwest states, ARG Industrial has opened at 142 W. Lions Way in Hayden.

With a website of www.alaskarubbergroup.com, the employee-owned business offers hydraulic-industrial hose and fittings, rigging, cargo control, fueling components and industrial supply.

Spark Med Spa opens in Hayden  

Offering multiple services related to individual health and appearance, Spark Med Spa has opened at 8827 N. Government Way (Suite 106) in Hayden.

Options include medical weight loss, body sculpting, testosterone optimization, stemwave pain therapy, hair restoration, medical grade facials, esthetic treatments, waxing, permanent makeup, facial threads and custom spray tans. They also sell skin-care products and supplements, stem-cell serums and boutique gifts.

• Watch for a major development on property at the intersection of Hanley Avenue and Atlas Road.

• Two new buildings for the Local Markets company will open next year at the intersections of Best Avenue and 15th Street in Coeur d'Alene and Highway 41 and Hope Road in Post Falls. What they will offer will be similar to the existing Local Market at Atlas Road and Seltice Way. The Markets will have an emphasis on produce, fresh flowers, coffee and products sourced from local vendors with fresh-made deli sandwiches and pastry bars and premium espresso coffees with drive-throughs. Owned by Andy Singh, the stores are architecturally designed to fit the local landscapes and surrounding communities. They will include gas and electric car charging.  

• Providing innovative emergency medical services and always open, Post Falls ER & Hospital will open in a new building at 497 S. Beck Road in July. Founded and operated by board-certified physicians and Nutex Health Inc., it will offer advanced clinical, pediatrics, imaging and laboratory service with 12 emergency department rooms and five inpatient suites with an onsite laboratory and radiologic suite with high-tech testing capabilities with MRIs, CT scans, X-rays and ultrasounds with same-day scheduling and quick results. • Heritage Health will be in a large building at 3700 W. Seltice Way.

• A new building with Riverstone Dental as the major tenant is under construction at Prairie Avenue (1701 W. Prairie) and Ramsey Road. It should open in May with Riverstone Dental in the main level and two large suites available. Riverstone Dental also has locations in Coeur d'Alene and Post Falls offering general dental care. • A Chipotle eatery is being built near Bruchi's on Highway 41.

• With a summer opening planned, four businesses will occupy the new building under construction at 264 S. Beck Road at State Line. With Garco Construction in charge, the places will be Wendy's, Joint Chiropractic, The Man Shop and probably Capriotti's Sandwich Shop. Project manager is Michael Barr.

• A Fernan Farmers' Market will be noon to 4 p.m. Sundays May 5 to Sept. 29 at Lake Village Lodge at 320 E. Coeur d'Alene Lake Drive.

• With the groundbreaking for new buildings for Grocery Outlet and 7-Eleven stores, North Point Plaza is being constructed in the northeast corner of Highway 41 and Poleline Avenue. Developer Jordan Wirsz of Corhaven Properties said more announcements for the 7-acre property will be coming soon. Five parcels remain in the development. • HeatPraxia, previously at 404 E. Sherman Ave., will be at 1080 E. Lakeshore Drive in September.

• Runge's Furniture at 303 E. Spokane St. is remodeling and will add Trader Joe's in about half the space.

• A new larger building for The Oval Office is under construction on Spokane Street in Post Falls. It should be complete this summer with owner Raci Erdem, general contractor Rob Harsh and architect Mark Latham.

• A proposed Marriott Hotel will be on about a half acre at 602 and 612 E. Sherman Ave. The six-story hotel would include 131 guest rooms, 130 parking stalls among the main level and three levels underground, an administration area, a bar, kitchen, lounge, dining area, meeting area, laundry, fitness room and a rooftop patio bar.

• A new facility for Peak Health and Wellness Center is under construction at 4425 N. Fennecus Road in Post Falls. It will move in August from 927 E. Polston (Suite 101). The new place will include eight indoor and eight outdoor pickleball courts, strength equipment, cardio and group fitness, a kids club, juice bar, pro shop and full locker room.

• DOMA Coffee Roasting Company will open a cafe in the 3,000-square-foot main floor in the new building off the Centennial Trail at 3091 S. Atlas Road. • The Thomas George building under construction at Third Street and Front Avenue downtown will be 18 stories. • A four-story 151-room Hyatt Place Hotel is planned for the Millworx development on Fourth Avenue in Post Falls.  

• Mountain View Business Center's commercial leases for flex space in the new building at 9044 W. Prairie Ave. are all taken. More info later.

• Describing it as a "new product vendor mall," Marketplace@Miles is under construction in the southeast corner of Government Way and Miles Avenue in Hayden. Spaces in a variety of sizes are available for retail vendors with additional onsite storage offered. • Selkirk Sport will relocate its pro shop from 12037 N. Tracey Road in Hayden to 7878 Government Way later this year.

• Huetter Business Park, which is three flex industrial and office buildings owned by Etco Services, will open on Huetter Road north of Interstate 90 and Seltice Way. • A new ambulatory surgery center is under construction by Northwest Specialty Hospital at 1624 E. Mullan Ave. directly east of its main campus at 1593 E. Polston Ave. in Post Falls.
