Cynthia Irene Judd, 63, of Valley, Wash., passed away June 29, 2024, after a long illness. She was born in Augsburg, Germany, on March 8, 1961, to Kenneth and Ruth Bowler, where her father was stationed with the U.S. Army.

The family returned to Spokane, Wash., while she was still an infant and she was soon joined by a baby brother. When Cindy was 6, she was joined by twin sisters. She became her mother's helper and indispensable "big sister" to her siblings.

Cindy graduated from Wallace High School in 1979 as valedictorian of her class. She married Michael Judd in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, on Oct. 13, 1990. They were married for 33 years and made their home in Valley, Wash. Cindy was a member of the Valley Bible Church and appreciated the friends and fellowship there. She was very fond of her pets over the years, both dogs and her special kitties. Cindy enjoyed going to garage sales, where she made friends and found many treasured items. Cindy faced the challenges of bipolar illness all of her adult life. Mike was both her loving, loyal husband and caregiver for the last few years.

The family wishes to extend special thanks to the caring home helpers who attended to her while she remained at home.

Cindy is survived by her husband, Mike Judd, her mother, Vinetta Ruth Spencer, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, brother Bryan (Mary) Bowler in Missouri, sister Sonia (Stan) Jansen also in Missouri, sister Serena (Duane) Brison of Hayden, Idaho. She is also survived by nine nieces and nephews. Cindy was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Bowler and her grandparents, Victor and Vinettie Nelson, Cleon and Ingrid Bowler (Carson) and Glen and Perky Peterson.

The family requests memorials be sent to the Valley Bible Church or a charity of your choice.
