Paddack, a 6-foot-4, 210-pound left-handed pitcher from Coeur d’Alene High, Community Colleges of Spokane and Gonzaga, allowed four hits in 4 1/3 innings and struck out eight last Saturday against the Falmouth Commodores in a Cape Cod League game in Falmouth, Mass. 

Paddack has a 3.27 earned run average, with 18 strikeouts in 11 innings pitched in the summer college wood-bat league.

Kaufman, a redshirt senior from Lake City High, was named a recipient for the fourth time of the Faculty Athletic Representative Scholar-Athlete Award. To be awarded, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.85 or greater.
