LEGION BASEBALL: Northern Lakes powers past St. Maries

SPIRIT LAKE — Grant Allaway had three hits, three runs scored and four RBIs for the Northern Lakes Mountaineers in a 20-0 win in the first game of a doubleheader against the St. Maries Savages at John Shaffer Field.

Jace Taylor and Evan Shanley had three RBIs each for Northern Lakes in the opener.

Milo Marsh had two of St. Maries’ four hits in the first game.

In the nightcap, Cooper Lenz had four hits and four runs scored in the Mountaineers' 22-1 win over the Savages.

Caleb Mason and Ethan Pecor had three RBIs each in the second game for Northern Lakes (22-7), which faces the Bitterroot Red Sox in the Missoula Mavericks Tournament on Thursday.

Brock Anderson had an RBI single in the fifth inning for St. Maries in the second game.
