Cassandra Lynn Carrigan-Andreasen, 55
Cassandra (Cassie) L. Carrigan-Andreasen, born July 18, 1968, has left a lasting impact on all those who had the privilege of knowing her. Her journey began in Reno, Nev., where she brought joy and love to her parents, Robert (Bob) W. Berntsen and Diane L. MacAlvey-Berntsen. Cassie's adventurous spirit led her through Sandpoint, Post Falls and Cd'A, where she graduated from high school in 1986 and later achieved her bachelor's degree in business management from Lewis and Clark State College in 1992.
On March 27, 2004, Cassie joined hands in marriage with Jesse Andreasen at the Fort Sherman chapel in Cd'A. Throughout her career, Cassie exemplified dedication and compassion in various roles, from retail management to her recent position as an outpatient service coordinator at Kootenai Outpatient Imaging. Her warm smile and genuine desire to help others left a profound impact on everyone she encountered.
Cassie's love for life extended beyond the workplace; she cherished moments spent with family and friends. Her adventurous spirit found solace in sunny beaches and crystal-clear waters perfect for snorkeling. She was a beacon of happiness and positivity to all fortunate enough to cross paths with her.
On June 24, 2024, surrounded by her loving family at home, Cassie peacefully transitioned at the age of 55. While we mourn her physical absence, we are comforted knowing that her spirit lives on in the hearts of all those who were touched by her kindness.
A celebration of Cassie's life will be held Saturday, July 6, at Bell Tower Funeral Home in Post Falls at 11 a.m. In honoring Cassie's vibrant personality, all attendees are encouraged to wear bright colors and carry the joy that Cassie radiated throughout her life.
