Idaho gas prices hold steady

COEUR d'ALENE — Idaho gas prices remain calm, despite a record number of travelers for the Fourth of July holiday.
According to AAA, the average price for a gallon of regular in the Gem State is $3.59, which is just a fraction of a penny more than a week ago, but 5 cents less than a month ago and 35 cents cheaper than a year ago.
Meanwhile, the national average sits at $3.51 per gallon, which is about 2 cents more than a week ago and 5 cents more than a month ago, but 3 cents less than a year ago.
