PARADE: Thanks for picking up trash

While it would be wonderful if every visitor to our beaches and parks “left no trace,” it is either only practiced by a small majority OR there are a few that have feel others shall cleanup after them, they are too superior, or too inebriated, to bother with their own trash and leave a lot. Fortunately, there seems to be some quality folks willing to come down to Independence Point early on the morning of July 5 and remove the debris from the uncaring members of the crowd (and, perhaps blown debris from overwhelmed trash cans). A big THANK YOU to all of them, beach cleaners, grassy area trash gatherers and even shallow water trash removers.
