LEGION BASEBALL: Wood Bat Classic begins today
The annual Spokane/Coeur d'Alene Wood Bat Classic begins today at seven sites, including Thorco Field and Lake City High in Coeur d'Alene.
The Coeur d'Alene Lumbermen will host Multi-Sport 360, the North Idaho Lakers of Sandpoint, Wenatchee Valley Baseball Club and Calgary Blues in Senior Division games at Thorco Field.
The Coeur d'Alene Lumbermen 17U team will host Junior Division games at Lake City High against Wilder Baseball Club, Wenatchee Valley, the Spokane Expos (Norden) and 509 Outlaws.
The Coeur d'Alene Lumbermen 16U team will play in a pod at Post Falls High. Northern Lakes will compete in a Junior Division pod at West Valley High in Spokane Valley.
Senior Division semifinal and championship game are scheduled for Sunday at Al K. Jackson Field in Spokane.
Junior Division semifinal and championship games are scheduled for Sunday at Thorco Field.
