POST FALLS — Entries are wanted for the Post Falls parade July 13.

Val Wilcox, office coordinator for the Post Falls Chamber of Commerce, said there had been some confusion over whether the parade would take place since it was pushed to the week after Independence Day, but help from volunteers and the Post Falls Chamber of Commerce kept the parade on track during the Post Falls Festival.

“We'll always get on the stick and make sure it's happening,” Wilcox said.

The parade lineup begins at 10 a.m. from North Frederick Street and Seltice Way, and continues east on Seltice to Idaho Road. It kicks off with a giant flag carried by 30 people.

“We have lots of kids participating from the high school,” Wilcox said.

The Post Falls Festival runs July 12-14 with vendors and handmade crafts. Live music, food trucks, a movie in the park, kids activities and a beer garden at Q'emiln Park will also be featured.

The Citylink North Shuttle will be available and parking will be free.

Groups interested in participating should contact the Post Falls Chamber at 208-773-5016 or val@postfallschamber.org.

The deadline to join the parade is July 8.
