NIC ROUNDUP: Cardinals go 1-1 on final day at Apodaca Duals

POWELL, Wyo. — Freshmen Porter Craig (157), Conan Northwind (174) and Jermiah Zuniga (149) finished unbeaten on the weekend for the Cardinals in the Apodaca Duals tournament on the campus of Northwest College on Saturday.

NIC, ranked fifth in the latest NJCAA poll, fell 26-16 to top-ranked Western Wyoming of Rock Springs, then beat Snow of Ephraim, Utah, 34-10 to finish the weekend 2-1 after beating Northwest 35-13 on Friday.

NIC hosts fourth-ranked Clackamas on Wednesday.
