NIBCA announces year-end awards

The North Idaho Building Contractors Association announced award-winning members at their General Membership Meeting on Jan. 17 at the Best Western Plus Coeur d’Alene Inn. Nominations are based on member involvement at NIBCA, as well as in the community, both within and outside of the building industry. 

Alex Myers of TitleOne was awarded Associate of the Year. Levi Snyder of Monogram Homes won Builder of the Year and the Allen Dykes Young Professional of the Year awards. Wade and Nicole Jacklin of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Jacklin Real Estate earned Company of the Year. Heather Tiemeyer of Floor and Home received the Professional Woman in Building of the Year award. Dylan Hubble of Coeur d’Alene High School and KTEC received the Construction Student of the Year award. 

2024 board officers were also installed, including president Dale Cargile of NorthRidge Contracting, first vice president Cel Demers of Floor and Home, second vice president Michael Wendland of Inland Construction Corporation and associate vice president Amie Pace of Evergreen Home Loans. Jessica Cargile of NorthRidge Contracting was installed as president of Professional Women in Building. 

Dale Cargile, 2024 board president, thanked 2023 Board President Levi Snyder for “setting the bar so high” and explained his goals to “help members find their value by getting involved, investing in new members, and finding ways to partner with local organizations to help build a better future for our communities, and for All of North Idaho.” 

The North Idaho Building Contractors Association, established in 1970, is a construction trade association representing member companies involved in homebuilding in Kootenai, Benewah, Bonner, Boundary and Shoshone counties. NIBCA is an industry resource, actively involved with area organizations to balance economic, environmental and legislative issues, creating a better understanding of the value and importance of the building industry and trades education in the community.
