REGAN: ‘Let’s not be fooled’
George Orwell wrote, “The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.”
Now, think about that in the mess of politics in Kootenai County led by Brent Regan. Brent brushes off important stuff like Jan. 6, pulling strings with information on serious matters like North Idaho College. He argues down is up every Friday while denigrating neighbors proclaiming this is normal. It’s like Orwell’s warning is happening right here in our backyard. And no surprise, with lawsuits piling up, who’s left holding the bag? Yep, us hardworking taxpayers.
Under Regan’s leadership, they’re trying to make normal folks ignore plain truth and buy into their twisted version of what’s real. It’s not just messing with the facts; it’s messing with the basic values of honesty and openness that should be the backbone of the Idaho Republican Party. So, let’s not be fooled. We can’t afford to blindly follow a narrative that doesn’t match up with what we can see and hear for ourselves. Brent says it’s OK to have an opinion, but then gives you a list of tedious demands before he’ll consider it.
It’s time to cut through the smoke and mirrors. We need a Republican leader that respects our hard-earned money and good old common sense.
