Judy Conger, 65

Judy Eileen Conger, 65, of Spokane, Wash., passed away Jan. 18, 2024, after a 27-month battle with brain cancer. Judy was born on June 19, 1958, to Charles and Betty Stebbins in Tonasket, Wash. 

Judy graduated from Post Falls High School and then studied at North Idaho College. Judy worked for several years in retail clothing sales. After moving to Omak with her husband, she became a stay-at-home mom for several years before taking a position with the Omak School District food services for 12 years. 

Judy and Dennis were married in Coeur d’Alene in 1982 and were married for 41 years at the time of her death. They had two children, Rae-Lynn and Jonathan. 

Judy loved babysitting her grandchildren, walking her dog, working in her yard, baking, camping, traveling and knitting.

Judy was preceded in death by her father, Charles Stebbins, and mother Betty Stebbins. She is survived by her husband, Dennis Conger, daughter Rae-Lynn Barden (Ryan), son Jonathan Conger, sister Nancy Moore (Tom ), brother Alan Stebbins, brother John Stebbins (Gina) and grandson Hudson Barden and granddaughter Everlee Barden.

A celebration of life will be held at True Hope Church, 1316 N. Lincoln St., Spokane, Wash., on Feb. 3, 2024, at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation to the Glioblastoma Foundation.
