| January 19, 2024 1:15 AM

• POSTPONEMENTS

Due to the forecast of inclement weather, today's Backwoods Brawl spirit games between Timberlake and Bonners Ferry at Bonners Ferry High were postponed Thursday and rescheduled for Saturday, starting at 9 a.m. with the wrestling dual. The boys basketball game will follow at 11 a.m., with the girls basketball game at 1 p.m.

Weather again forced postponements to a majority of Thursday's prep schedule.

Boys basketball games pitting St. Maries at Orofino, Lakeside at Rogers and Kootenai at Clark Fork were postponed, along with a girls basketball game pitting Priest River at St. Maries.

No makeup dates were announced.

MULLAN — Junior Julian Davis led four Miners into double figures with 16 points in a nonleague win over the Tigers at the Mullan Paviliion.

Stephen Paul added 13 points for Wallace (3-6), Jordan Guardipee 12 and Alex Cleveland 10.

Stephen Petit had 12 points and five rebounds, and Kofi Appiah had seven boards for Mullan (0-9), which plays host to the Genesis Prep JV on Tuesday.
